Geography

Geography is a valued part of the curriculum at Lammack as it provides a means of exploring, appreciating and understanding the world in which we live and how it is evolving. Geography explores the relationship between the Earth and its people. We aim to build upon the children’s “personal geography” by developing geographical skills, understanding and knowledge through studying places and themes. Throughout our Geography curriculum we consistently make links with Blackburn and our local area to help give the children a sense of place within Lancashire, the United Kingdom and the wider world.
