Lammack Primary School Expansion
The North of Blackburn is going through huge investment at the moment with a number of large housing estates being built. Lammack Community Primary School has been identified as the perfect school to increase in size to cater for the families moving into the area.
Our large grounds, ‘Good’ Ofsted grade and continued successful results set us in good stead to move from a 2.5 form entry school to a 3 form entry school. The build has already begun with Phase 1 (January 2022) – two new reception classrooms and will continue through 5 phases completing Summer 2023. Our Reception intake will increase to 90 children from September 2023 and over the next 7 years school will gradually expand to house 630 pupils.
This is an exciting project which will increase our classroom and intervention spaces, give us more office and meeting room space and also includes more toilets for children and visitors. Lammack Community Primary School will be a school that is admired across the area and beyond, not only for its reputation but also for its facilities.
